Introduction for Ken Sheffert For Hampton NH State Representative

Hello, Hampton residents! I am Ken Sheffert, delighted to announce my candidacy for the state representative position at Hampton, NH. I am not just a candidate but a long-standing member of the Hampton community, having lived here for over 50 years. My deep roots in this area, coupled with over 30 years of experience as a small business owner in landscaping and as a Realtor with Keller Williams in Portsmouth, NH, give me a unique understanding of our community’s needs. This experience has taught me the importance of economic development and housing issues, which I am committed to addressing if elected.

My service, which includes retirement from the US Army and NH National Guard, where I worked with remote telephone and computer data systems, has given me a unique perspective on technology and its impact on our lives. I have passionately advocated for the veteran property tax credit, and I am proud to have provided my military documentation to support this cause. I am currently serving our community as a member of the Hampton Zoning Board.

From 2007 to 2024, I worked with Community Home Solutions, a non-profit organization, as a board member that fights foreclosures and assists seniors with reverse mortgages. In 2011, I had the honor of serving as the Hampton State Representative and was an active Environment and Agriculture committee member. I also sponsored a critical bill to maintain clearances around telephone and electrical lines to ensure uninterrupted power and the safety of utility workers. I am deeply committed to serving and representing the best interests of the people of Hampton, and I humbly ask for your support in the upcoming election.

Thank you
Ken Sheffert
